Sufi Budhal Faqeer was a sufi ( Saint ) great poet of Shikarpur, Sindh, Pakistan.
He wrote poetry in many languages ( Sindhi, Saraiki, Urdu ) aslo he used words of different languages in his poetry lines.
Sufi Budhal Faqeer First Book was published in December ( 1941 AD ) Book of Budhal Faqeer Written and Printed By Faqeer Anand Ram Tutal Das Rajani.
Sufi Budhal Faqeer was born in 1865 AD in Village ( Bakhshu Unar ) located in right side of Chohi Canal near Shikarpur,North Sindh.
It was the time of British Colonisation. His Father Name is Abdul Wasih. It was the time of prosperity for peoples in Farming.
Abdul Wasih, was very humble and calm nature person, But he was childless.
The day he see a Bare-feet Faqeer came at his house door and told him that don’t worry, very soon you will have a son.
Give him the Name ” Budhal ” after one year , Sufi Budhal Faqeer came into this World, He was only son of Abdul Wasih.
Sufi Budhal Faqeer used to say that when British Railways tracks in Shikarpur, Sindh were laid in 1883 and English Men Set up their tants
near Zarkheel Road, he was at the age of 18 years. So with this tradition, the year of his birth considered ( 1865 AD ).
He learnt worldly and Religious kownledge from his father Abdul Wasih. He used to go to fields and jungle with the animals and spend his time in Meditation under the shade of a tree, and he sing this kalam there.
Sufi Budhal Faqeer was given domestic animals for herding. He never interested in this job, Some times he would sleep in jungle near by the animals would be on their own grazing in the fields.
